Problem with battle square...

    Could someone tell me how to activate battle square rank 1? When I try to activate rank 1 I start at the lowest lever (furthest to the south) and then go to the 2nd next highest lever, (one north) then I try to activate battle square rank 1 (the 3rd from the south) but nothing happens. I know this is probably a pretty newb question but I don't know how to do it. I just want to activate battle square rank 1 So I can get Oria's key. I might attempt to get some good gear out of this if it isn't too difficult but from what I've read on the walkthrough you can run into some pretty nasty stuff in this game room. Insight into this would be much appreciated.

    I never really remember which level does exactly what. Before going after Oria, do some testing beforehand. Play around with the levers on the left till you figure out what configuration means Battle Squares. The Golem will announce what configurations the levers are at.

    You'll also need to remember the configuration for Sanctuary (iirc) as well. That's a little heads up for when you actually use the key.

    Was it that your first choice of battle square ALWAYS results in getting Oria's key? Perhaps square 1 is disabled if you first chose another level. It'll be in a walkthrough...
