    In a way, anybody who's been through the game at least once will know that either Qara or Sand will leave the party and side with Garius. So by now, you make a deliberate choice in the matter by deciding from the beginning who you're going to gain more influence with.

    So, who do you choose?

    Me, Qara. Sure, she's a tempermental brat, who knows she has powers in spades and isn't afraid to let others know it. But in a lot of ways, she's putting on a mask to defend herself, and not let any vulnerability show through. The other thing is, she will feel personal loyalty to the Knight-Captain if you her treat her nicely and stand up for her. And when things close towards the finish, there's nobody you want more on your side. She truly does step up.

    Lest you think this is in the same vein as "Beren always defends Jaheira ...", No, in real life, Qara would definitely be in my friend zone.



    Sand on the other hand, what a snotty little p****. At least imho. Rubs me just like his name.

    Either for me.

    I like both personalities, but I hate their reasons for turning against the PC in the end.


    Sand/Qara: "PC, sorry but I dislike someone in your party. Garius, feel free to take advantage of my mind/body/soul and everything I have worked for before this point and destroy the Sword Coast."

    They could have just slipped away like Bishop.
