Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

    [​IMG] Ok, judging by this weeks current poll, quite a few of you aren't particularly interested in thins game, which in my opinion will be an excellent game, and I am certainly looking forward to it, probably more than any other game.

    Now some of you are complaining that there isn't enough information about the game, but what exactly do you expect with a game that probably will be released at the very end of next year, or the start of 2003? Screenshots a plenty, with liberal doses of FAQs and other such details? Of course things like these will not be released so soon into development. On the other hand, there is a fair amount of detail about this game out there, if you bother looking for it.

    For those of you who have not a single idea about what I am talking about, Knights of the Old Republic is a new RPG in development by both LucasArts and BioWare (This on its own pretty much guarantees it will be good ;)). This extract from the BioWare website sums it up pretty well:

    Sounds good, no? :D

    Now for those of you who will moan about the time period meaning bad technology, and inevitably, there will be some people who will moan, the rate of technological advances in Star Wars is much slower supposedly - you will not be thrust into some Neolithic society where you are forced to batter Sith to death will big clubs and mutter "Ug" from time to time :D; far from it - Hyperdrives have been around for 20,000 or so years, ensuring that there will good combat with proper weapons, and hopefully some nice space travel and maybe even space combat.

    Will it be good? I have no idea. Is it Star Wars? Yes. Therefore I predict that hordes of likeminded people will buy it even if it's a stick-man flickbook with lightsabres.
