    I have a few tiny-winy questions:

    1) What the heck is a "Hassardeur"
    2) What AC on the armour :hmm:
Imho, if we don't want an AC, it should be a robe, and not a regular armour!

    Misc (Harp): Unrequited Love
There was once an elvish bard, who fell in love. Unfortunately, he was a strangely shy bard, and could never bring himself to confess his love to her. He would perform with all his heart, whenever she would come over to watch his performance. She would come almost every night to watch him perform, and he finally collected enough courage within himself to approach her. They quickly became good friends and yet the bard, fearful of rejection did not dare to reveal his true feelings to her. He could only comfort her when she feels down and watch over her as a guardian as best he could. Tragedy soon struck, when she fell to a rare wasting disease. In his horror, the bard could only stand watch over her as she dies slowly, day by day. He would visit her as often as he could, singing soothing songs to ease her pain. When she finally died, the bard composed a song in remembrance of his lost unrequited love so sad that listeners would be stunned in silence, as anguish falls over them. It is rumoured that his song would even make the most evil of demons cry. This unnamed bard finally died in his travels, killed by human bandits who wanted nothing more than a few gold pieces and his harp which they sold for no more than 20 gold pieces. In his death, the song he composed died with him, lost forever.
This is the very harp that the bard was said to have used, carrying within it lost memories of a loved one.

    Necklace: Symbol of the Judicators
In the far east of Kara-Tur, the White Tiger Clan is one of the largest organisation that rules the night much akin to the Shadow Thieves in Athkala. The clan is so influential that even the government in place fears them and turns a blind eye to their activities. In exchange, the White Tiger Clan does not interfere with the petty political power struggles of the officials. While the White Tiger Clan does not stoop to 'dishonourable' acts such as assassinations or slavery, they do monopolise other illegal activities such as smuggling. The Judicators is an elite branch within the clan that keeps order within the clan. While they do not partake in the illegal activities the clan usually dabble in, they will step in when, say someone within the clan turns traitor or defending the clans' territory from rival clans.
Judicators are specially selected and well trained and new and inexperienced Judicators usually become adjutants to a senior within a Judicator party. This necklace, are given to such adjutants not to alienate them, but for their seniors to recognise an adjutant and guide him within the organisation. It is a rare honour for one to be promoted into the Judicators and the adjutants always wear this with pride. Senior ranking Judicators need no such trinkets to identify themselves, as word of their actions and feats suffice.
    Statistics:

    Blessing

Here's an uber-item that I made (via Cromwell's Smithy) for a friend of mine who was having an amazingly crap-tacular time soloing. I just couldn't stand to listen to him whine anymore.

    Ring of Irresistable Force

"Ever-Moving Ring" The ring trembles as you hold it, seeming to need constant movement, while making it rather difficult to put on. Once slipped onto the finger, however, the constant random movement makes it more difficult for the wearer to be hit. It also prevents anything from stopping or even slowing the wearer.

    STATISTICS:

    Armor Class: +1 bonus
    Magic Resistance: +10%
    Special: Improved Haste while worn
    Requires: 20 Dexterity

Non-mentioned abilities include a +2 movement bonus similar to that of a barbarian's, and immunity to anything and everything that "reduces movement" (hold, sleep, unconsciousness, slow, web, stun, petrify, etc.) Lore to ID would be high but not too high due to the fact that its constant trembling kind of gives it away. Cost would have to be astronomical (1 million or so) and it should only be available in ToB due to its over-poweredness.

If you don't want to make it, that's fine, but it might be a nice addition for anyone who's having a hard time soloing.

Hm, after browsing through the posts, I've found that my items resemble many of previously stated ideas. Firstly, I must apologise if I seem to be taking liberties with your ideas (eg. Knee-capper). I honestly did not realise that it was previously mentioned :o .

Secondly, after alittle pondering :hmm: and browsing of other suggestions, my suggestions are wildly overpowered and I would not be surprised that most of them will be chucked out. I can't be bothered with some of the items, but I really hope that those from the Kara-Turan arc are kept (just nerf them as you see fit) :sosad:

    @ Fel
:hmm: The steep dex requirement actually semi-justifies the existing of the item! People will have to either 1) Cheat the needed Dex score, 2) Play an Elf from SoA through and to ToB - Including dex score of the Lum machine in WK 3) Play a Halfling from SoA through and to ToB - Including dex score of the Lum machine in WK, 4) Play an Elf from BG one through and to ToB, 5), Play a Halfling from BG one through and to ToB, 6) Play a PC with 18 dex, going from BG one through and to ToB, using both the book in BG one and the Dex enhancer from the machine of Lum... (Can't remember whether the deck holds any permanent dex enhancing card, or if any site in the Hell trials get a permanent dex bonus, though both probably holds such a possibility).

    @ Faye
Don't mind that! We'll filter everything that happens. I would, however, recomend you and any people who furtheron suggest items here to read my first post! Everything *is* explained in that post.

    @olimikrig:
The Star Card will boost your Dex if you're a thief or bard, and the neutral path of the Fear challenge in the Revised Hell Trials mod will give you +2 Dex.

But the point is that it makes it extremely hard for anyone other than the PC to be able to use it. (I didn't want Kevin to be using it in every game, after all.) The Hell Trials are PC-specific, as are the Tomes from BG1. Which stat I used didn't really matter, but Dex fits in better with the 'avoidance' theme. Of course, you could still put it on Chloe, but...meh.

As I promised, a few more ideas.

    Cloak of the Watch

This odd, unsettling cloak is actually woven of Dark Matter, and is the common garb of The Disciples of The Watch, the secret society vowed to infiltrate and eradicate the enemies of the Shadovar. Members are gifted this cloak after proving themselves. The cloaks gifted to members is actually a weak copy of the Greater Cloak of The Watch, property of Disciple of The Watch, who founded the Order after returning to the Plane of Shadow after the eradication of the Dying Light. Members who are gifted these cloak are intensly protective of it, and it is likely that this one was the property of a deceased member of the Order. Although a weak copy, the Cloak is a potent magic item that surrounds the wearer in a twisted mass of Shadows, rendering Hiding in Shadows laughably easy, and protects from Normal Missiles. Also, since the wearer melds into the Shadows, a permanant Nondetection is gained.

    STATS:
    - Nondetection
    - +30% Hide in Shadows
    - Protection from Normal Missiles
    - Summon Shadow 1x/Day
    Type: Cloak

    Blade of The Watch

The Disciples of The Watch was a secret society founded and named after Disciple of the Watch, who was formely known as The New Order. First a blood-chilling assassin of the Order of The Scorpion, he disappeared in the War with the Dying Light. He then resurfaced as a foul, despicable Pale Master, who crushed the Dying Light to extinction. He disappeared again after the War, and tales of his whereabouts abounded. He was finally sighted when the Shadovar send a scouting party prior to their return to the Material Plane.

Blades of the Watch are gifted to members who have proven themselves, and just like the Cloaks, they are weak copies of Disciple of the Watch's original. An owner of such blade is very protective of it, and will defend it with his life. It is safe to assume that this blade was the property of a deceased Order member. Although it is but a weak copy, this blade is nontheless a potent magic item.

    STATS:
    Damage: 2D4+3
    THAC0:+3
    Speed factor: 6
    Special:
30% chance of blinding target on each succesful hit
    +1D4 Fire Damage
    Immunity to blindness
    Type: Bastard Sword

Hmm, Magma Man, can the Blade of the Watch be completly black? It would fit well with it's Shadovar origin.

Yay flood of new items!

I've been thinking about my last item and I'm not sure it seems, well, starlighty enough. So I thought it could add:

Casts Glitterdust 3 times per day (as per the mage spell)

You know, starlight -> stardust -> glitterdust. Or something.

Ninja-To: Thorn of the Black Rose
The Black Roses Clan is a Kara-Turan clan that lurks almost unseen within the shadows. While the White Tiger Clan rules the night, the Black Roses rules from the shadows. The two clans fight for supremacy and the prize, control of east Kara-Tur. The Black Roses usually sell their services as assassins and sometimes, as mercenaries. The Black Roses consists of specialised guilds within the clan each ruled by an elder, and the elders rule the clan in its entirety together.
This Ninja-To, is a ceremonial blade given to the new members of the clan. The blade is extremely well-balanced due to its superior marksmanship, allowing the wielder to perform lightning like strikes. In fact, to the untrained eye one might mistake it for having magical enchantments on it.
    Statistics:

    Robe: Lost Memories
There was once an elven mage who was afflicted by a disease of the mind while he was in his middle years causing him to lose some of his memory. The poor mage did not even realise that he lost some of his memory, until he met an old friend whom he was unable to remember. Determined to find out about his past, he travelled the lands looking for clues to his past, going from continent to continent, meeting friends and foes alike who would fondly recall about the laughs they had or the fights they partook in (be it together or against one another), learning more and more about his past feats of good and evil. However, no matter how hard he tried, he could only see his memories from another person's perspective. Days turned to months, and months turned to years and still he could not find his 'own' memories. They were ultimately not his memories, but memories of the people in his life of him. Many years later, after much contemplation, he came to the conclusion that he would never succeed. No matter how hard he tried to 'feel' them, to envisage them as his own memories, they were just too alien to him. He realised that he has been trying too hard to relive his lost past, so much so that he has forgotten about his uncertain future. He finally left the burden of his past behind him and lived his life as it would have been, not as it should have been. Everyday for him, was a new day filled with new memories he would create which were his, and his alone. It was said that he lived longer than most elves ever did.
His robe, carries with it much memories. It is able to project memories into reality, albeit for only a short while.
    Statistics:

This armor inspired by an excellent movie I watched loosely based on Little Red Riding Hood with a truly dark twist at the ending. Love the movie

    Hide Armor: The Wolf
Once upon a time, there was a noble girl, who always wore a red cloak. She lived with her oppressive father, separated from her mother, a simple woman who had an affair with the father, who lives in a cottage a few miles away. Once a week, she would travel down to the cottage to visit her mother, and she would always bring her some cheese, butter and wine. Being a noble's daughter, she would have guards following her to keep her safe from any enemies of her father. One day, she met with a rather handsome young man on her way to the cottage. Ever so curious, and despite warnings from her guards, she approached the man and spoke to him. The charming young man turned out to be a delivery boy, who was making his rounds for the day. After that day, they would meet every way, the girl on her way to visit her mother, the man on his delivery rounds. After many moons, the girl fell in love with the young man. Knowing that her father would not approve of her love with a commoner, the man persuaded her to leave her life behind her and to start a new one with him. After much deliberation, she agreed and they eloped into the forests. However, to her horror, her lover led her to a group of men deep within the forests. As horror dawned upon her, the men turned out to be lycanthropes, werewolves as was her lover. They were nothing but wolves in men's clothing. Her love affair was nothing but a trick to lure her away from the safety of her guards. The werewolves planned on using her as a hostage to force her father to give up his lands in exchange for her safety. After the deed was done, they wanted to kill her to ensure that their secret will be safe forever. Her lover however protested... he fell in love with the girl. The leader of his pack gave him an ultimatum, either kill her himself or leave the pack forever. He was taken aback, unsure of what to do. Leaving his pack would mean to deny his very nature, as a predator while the alternative was to take the life of his one love.
The girl seeing the turmoil within him, hugged him tightly with tears in her eyes screaming at him to kill her. In the end, he did. Humans kills the wolves only in fairytales.
This hide was said to be made from one of the members of that pack. Within it lies the deceitful nature of their kind, and heightens the wearer's senses to that akin to a wolf.

There's another item that I've been struggling over how to implement. My initial idea was to have four different levels of identification, but that wouldn't be possible with the IE engine without some serious programming. So I settled on this:

The restriction was meant to be a 120 Lore minimum to ID (which neither merchants nor the ID spell should have) and a minimum CHA score, but making it ToB and Bard specific should do the trick. If there's any way to make it so that the II never drops (even against Dispels or True Sight), that'd be perfect.

From what I've heard, True Sight cuts through a Non-Detection + Invis. combo, but not a Non-Detection + stealth combo. But I could be wrong...
