I am happy with the games I have now. If I see a game I want, I have no problem waiting until it is ten or fifteen bucks.

My favourite game developer is Paradox (www.paradoxplaza.com), a swedish company doing strategy games. They're exemplary in their interaction with the gamers.

A good example of both ends of the spectrum is to compare the support for Temple of Elemental Evil with that for Victoria (a Paradox game).

yeah Paradox is great, the fact that they still support EU (Europa Universalis) and EU 2, with patches and forums is great, but they also got the die hard fans.

By the way I just figured that 60 dollars for a game is cheap in Danmark :( a new PC game usually cost around 400 Dkr (64,5 USD) while a ps2 game cost around 500 Dkr (80 USD), which normally means I really cant afford new games, luckily they often drop pretty fast to around 50 USD. which is okay, for a game I really want

It's probably due to the weak US dollar. In Sweden new PC games typically cost SEK499 which translates to about USD67.

A rise of $10 to 59.95 will probably raise the prices over here with at least 20%. That means the prices for PC games in Denmark might reach DKK500.
In Sweden I expect the price to hit SEK600 or more if this happens.

Not really a problem for me. I voted 'yes, but only specific' BTW. I used to buy a few games every month when I had the time to play it. Nowadays it's a lot when I buy 2 games a year. So for those two games a year I've been waiting three years for I'd gladly pay full price.

I wouldn't care if Fallout III, Heroes of Might and Magic V, Halflife II or baldur's gate III, cost me 10 bucks more. Those games won't be out anytime soon anyhow.
