Why do you need a hex editor? its easy to roll quite powerful characters. In about 20 rolls on average I can have a character with 14+ plus in everything.

I was enjoying it till I stuck at the moathouse with Bardsong bug, so now I'm waiting for the patch so I can continue. For some reason bardsong can become stuck on and you get CTD trying to use the world map or resting or having the bard cast a spell.

Agreed, I am using NPC's for the time being for a change. I also have been pretty lucky with the game. My only problems have been w/ trying to stack un-ID'd potions in inventory. A little crowded w/out ability to stack. Graphics do create a wonderful gameplay experience on this one, a little dark until I adjust my screen, but that could be my own pc's fault. Love it so far though.

[IMG] Do you think the fan made patches will interfere with the "official" patch when it's released?

I don't know if the fan made patches will interefe with the official patch, but if they do you can reinstall the game.BTW,the Circle of Eight crew released a unofficial patch, which seems that it fixes lot of bugs.
