Why can't Aerie use a flail?

    I never noticed before since I've never used her but for a few minutes to finish the circus but why does she have flail as a proficiency but she can't use one?

    Well that was certainly odd. Now that I've posted/asked she CAN now use flails. :rolleyes:

    It is probably the same as Viconia, insufficient strength. You can get around it by drinking a potion of strength or casting any strength-boosting spell. As long as you don't unequip the weapon (by say switching to sling, although you might be able to do so and switch back and forth using the selector, I forget. Just don't take it off in inventory) it will still work.

    Some enemies temporarily drain strength, so that could have been a factor.
