V2.3 just came out for BG2EE (and BGEE & SoD) but will it effect any of the mods? Or will they have to be redone again?

Too soon to say really - it all depends on what files were edited in the update. if they overwrite any of the changes made by a mod, things will more then likely not work as intended.

There aren't a whole lot of documented changes, but there's always a chance that it'll break a bunch of stuff. That's not their concern.

Oh, and the mods are purged every time you install an update, so you're gonna have to reinstall shit anyway.

To be safe its probably best to uninstall your mods and then reinstall them. It can be annoying if you play with a lot of mods.

I just download 2.3 and reinstalled my mods - most of the basic mods seem to work so far - tweaks anthology, rogue rebalancing, spells, but I am having difficulty installing scs at the moment.

For future reference, this is the up-to-date thread on the beamdog forums listing which mods are compatible with the latest version of the enhanced edition : https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/34882/list-bg2-ee-mod-list-additions/p1
