    [​IMG] I just completed Planescape: Torment, Today!
    The best game since the Fallout series! Is Ice wind dale worth getting? Cos I never completed BG because it just bored me, to much hacking and slashing, I like talking to people, Being led along to this monster then the next, is just tedious. Also is it worth completeing BG for BG2? Any other RPGs that arn't Black isle worth looking into?

    Well, if you don't like hacking and slashing then IWD is probably not for you... It's a pretty linear dungeon crawl type of game with just enough story to make it interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I enjoy the tactical combat a lot...

    I completely agree. Planescape:Torment is an awesome game. But it's a completely different game then Icewind Dale. In PST the most rewarding tactic was most of the time finding an other solution than fighting.
    In Icewind Dale your only solution (most of the time) is to hack away.
    The characters in PST are more alive than in IWD, well in my opinion, everything is more alive and vivid then in IWD. But I still like IWD because it's a good game and it doesn't pretend to be anything else than a dungeon crawler where hacking and slashing is the way to go.
    And as there will be no new PST's to play, you'll have to find something else to play with. :)

    without a doubt Torment is the best roleplaying game ever, a real shame it did not catch on. Whats fallout like, is it any good?
