Belm, Kundane, and Scarlet Ninja-To are all kind of worthless once you get into ToB. Yes, they give 1 extra attack with your +5 axe. But, they will almost never hit themselves (they're only +2/+3 weapons). Abazigal has -12 AC.

The most you can get dual-wielding weapons (without the extra main-hand attack) is 3/2 attacks. With one of those weapons, you're getting 4/2. Because a +2 weapon is essentially worthless against these enemies, that's 4 attacks with your Foebane or Axe of the Unyielding. Not too shabby.

I'd rather have a +5 weapon in each hand, that way I'm getting 5 hits to your 4 with your combo.

A berserker with Crom Faeyr in his left and the Axe of the Unyielding in his right, Grand Mastery of both weapons and three slots in dual wield. This is sweet. Anomen with Crom Faeyr and the upgraded RuneHammer is another sweet deal. A fighter / thief with the Paladin Bastard Sword and Hindo's doom. All good, good stuff. The comments on shields are well taken -- by ToB, you will be hit regardless of your shield status, so hit them as much as you can!

One thing I'd like to try is an Archer who specializes in slings or darts. Having him use the reflection shield and staying out of melee range, he could avoid most damage -- he'd NEVER be hit by ranged attacks -- I'd especially like to run him up against that Huntress b***h.
