Woops, I went and left my instruction manaual at work friday (gotta have something to read at lunch) and therefor I have a question or two.

1) How do I get my Bard to ID something? I right click on things and then click the "Identify" button, but am asked to choose either a scroll or spell (both of which are greyed out) to ID it.

2) Hmm, forgot my second question. Guess I will have to come back later.

Ahh, I remember question #2.

Using a thief to detect traps.
I keep pressing the button like mad but he has never found one (around 50% skill now).
So how does this skill work?

Does he simply check the area near him when you press the button, or do you press the button then click on something. I believe clicking on something is wrong, since he keeps getting blown up when I try. And finally, is there a recycle time on the skill, since the button never seems to grey out?

To detect traps, you have to click the find traps button then just stand still for about 30 seconds or so. Any traps should appear.

Yes, you right click an item to identify it, but if your bard's lore is not high enough, you will be given the option of using a scroll (which is greyed out because you don't have one). I haven't had too many things that my bard could not identify so far, only about 3 or 4.
