Well I just finished HOW and am very disappointed. I can't believe that a game that came from Baldur's Gate's creators would be so short! And I never found the animal for the guys at Severed Hand. I just felt that it ended too soon.

Are there other addons to this that don't cost money? I hate to go to Icewind Dale 2 if its as short as #1.

1. It isn't the same makers as BG1, it's the same makers as PS:T, Fallout games and IWD2.

2. As mentioned in another topic, is TotL avaible for download for HoW, but it is really not THAT good, for me it's a patch for HoW with some new portraits for 70 meg. :D

3. The game aren't THAT bad, I actually love them almost as much as the BG ones, but if you disliked this, you will loathe IWD2. It took the worst from IWD, added some other bad things and added up with 3e, which was just about their only good decision(sp?) for IWD2. Plus, the two games together have a kick-ass story which if made into an RPG game instead of RPG/Hack'n Slash game would kick BG's ass all they way from Easthaven to Lurien.

Well, I didn't totally hate it. In general, it was fun but just too linear and too short. I tried to download the TOTL and another mod but something didn't work right. The TOTL mod says to install it in the mod directory, which I don't have and the other mod had a wait to download it of about 45 mins. Not sure if I want to try to get them or not. But it might be nice to download all the mods and replay the game from the beginning.

I tried the link that Fallen Paladin suggested but Games Domain doesn't seem to know what I'm talking about when I search for it. Anyone know what they call it on GD?

It means the main directory, not the MOD directory, so just install and play, it's a dungeon in Durlag's Keep style.

Games Domain was bought by Yahoo and they seem to have lost all info and downloads of ToTL in the process. I'm fixing links on SP as I type this. They'll be to FilePlanet, however, as that seems to be the only stable place still hosting the files.

Has anyone tried the Winter's Bane mods? I found the link for those and hated to waste my time if they aren't good.

You got it wrong. That's a remake of ToTL for NWN... It won't do you any good. Use the links on SP.
