Hi,

I dont know a lot of thing about AD&D, (except for the world of DragonLance), and I would like to know something:

Can someone give me some infos about Pool of Radiance? Where does this action take place?(Forgotten Relams? where in FR?) Is there any known caracters? Any links with lot of info?

BTW, I just start reading books on Forgotten Realms, since BG1&2 pick up my interest.

Now, I'm reading the Icewind Dale Trilogy.

Where it takes place is in the title: The Ruins of Myth Drannor...

You'll be starting off in Phlan, the original location from the Pool of Radiance that was released in 1988. There in Phlan, you learn that the old Pool of Radiance has resurfaced beneath the city, turning people into undead.

Elminster comes along and gathers up Phlan's city council to tell them that the old Pool of Radiance is not the cause, but that there is a new one back in its original location - Ruins of Myth Drannor. The city council, wanting to know the connection between both Pools, sends out a party to Myth Drannor but they never returned, thus that's where we as gamers step in.

We create our 4 member party (and there are 2 slots left for NPCs to join) and with the help of Elminster, are gated to the outskirts of Myth Drannor to begin digging and learning what's going on.
