The game will be released soon, but I'm a little indecisive: should I spend my time and money on this game? Most of the prewiews were positive (though there were some negatives too)but... The prewiews suggest that game will be a "classic" hack ad slash dungeon crawling. Is it enough in 2001? The game will use the 3E rules, and this is good, but the game misses some classes, for example the mage which is a great lost. All in all, it can be a great game but it seems a little flawed to me. what do you think?

If you're willing to overlook the obvious things missing from the game, and if you have the patience for turn-based play then you should have fun playing it. Especially since it'll be refreshing to play another D&D game which won't use the Infinity Engine.

Turn based is a very good thing, my favourite CRPG is Betrayal at Krondor, which has a turn based combat system too. And you're right Tal, Infinity engine is a very good thing, but not the only option.
