Has anyone found an effective way to fight Shadows? Whenever I fight shadows they always drain my strength so I end up having to rest consecutively 17 times which is quite annoying. Seeing as when you rest when the indicator is green you cant be attacked they might as well have just let you regain all your drained scores in one rest. But anyways, which spells can protect you from the drain? I haven't found any yet.

I've found using Turn Undead helps.

Also if you use potion of restoration or a wand, it helps a lot.


How I was fighting them.

I would have my cleric cast bless,
Then run my 2 tanks right up next to him.

Use my rogue to shoot arrows, and have my cleric, turn Undead.

Well yes, turning undead does help, but shadows tend to do anoying things. Once when I turned one, it suddenly got stuck or hid in a pillar and although I could see it, I couldn't hurt the damn thing. The problem with running tanks in is that I've often had it that they can't damage the shadow half the time because it is "incorporeal." Well since I wrote the post, my party has gotten better, so shadows aren't so hard.

Yhea, have you come across these damn lizards...and their Hold Person spells.
