I was starting to think that PoR was going to be ok. I hadn't had any of the bugs that some people were complaining about. But now I do. I can no longer save games, when I try to save it just crashes to the desktop. I know that there is a patch for PoR but Isn't it just for the install bugs? If anyone knows anything about this bug, I would apreciate it.

if u are using some character / savefile editor try not to make it multi class and make its level go up to 16 instance
this will ruin the save file
try using the poreedit1_7 this one is better
but try to make the experience like
5999/6000 not 10000/6000 this also will spoil the save file...

What other conditions cause the savegame bug besides saving while a character has blink or invis up?

I finally got it to work on my home machine (GeForce 2 video card) and now I seem to have lost my games. Is there any work around or do I have to start over or wait for patch 1.2?

Ive encountered this problem only 2 or 3 times. But I dont take chance anymore: I never save on the same savegame. I always use 2-3 differents savegame, save a lot. This way im sure i will not f*ck my files.

Just delete the files in the directory
