is there a way to memorize the scrolls the sorcer picks up ?

I haven't played the game yet, so don't hold me by my word, but if they implemented the rules alright, there should be no way for him to memorize scrolls. Sorcerers get their spells in much the same way clerics do, i.e. pick them from a list once in a while. They can't memorize them from scrolls, only cast directly.

Tal is correct. Sorcerers get spells as they level from a list.

I didn't know that, so If you read a scroll you learn the spell? I thought you had to learn them as you wen't up in levels and were limited to what you picked from the list.

If the first case is true I'll be casting spells off scrolls ASAP

Well there wouldn't be much point to put them in the game if you couldn't memorize them nor cast from scrolls. ;)
