Why have you started as barbarian? If you studied d&d rules you could spot that wands with cleric spells (raise dead and resurrection) can be used only by those classes that get cleric spells. That means clerics, rangers and pallies. And you should have kept alive at least one of those in the party.
As Mollusken previously said, reload the game when one of party members who had one of these classes was alive.

Otherwise, you'll have to search for a ring or amulet or even a weapon that has resurrection imbued, but trust me, such items are damned rare! I can remember only one such ring that could be used by any class. Bur I don't remember where I found it. :p

If you still don't want to reload, there is a possibility to bring dead party members back to life once when you find "thirsty fountain" or something called like that once when you finish the dwarven dungeons. But think, what usage will you have from those dead NPCs when they remained on low levels?

I think, from your post, your strength has been sucked out by a ghost. If you rest, you'll get your strength back (i think each rest gets you back 1 strength point).
