The thread with question about how much NPCs in PoR are was gone, so I repeat it.

--------------------------------------------------------------

These 8 NPCs are listed here with my ranking of usability:

1. JARIAL (TN Human - sorcerer L3) in Main Halls *acceptable*

2. EMMERIC (NG Human - fighter L5) in Halls of Stone *a must have*

3. EADRED (LG Human - paladin L8) in Tomb of Eternal Sleep (SullyMarsh) *sucks*

4. FAERIL (TN Elf - fighter/cleric L5/L9) in Hideout (Stillwater) after you speak to Anorrweyn *acceptable*

5. TUDO (NG Human - rougue L12) I found him in Catacombs, but I believe he is available at any random encounter spot after you hear rumors about him *a must have*

6. BRONWYN (LG Human - ranger L12) In Catacombs Second Cellar after you free golden nagas *sucks*

7. KELLAN (LG Human - fighter/sorcerer L7/L6) In Catacombs Second Cellar after you free golden nagas *sucks*

8. ATHAN (CG Human - fighter L16) jailed in Castle Passage *sucks*

Of course, you'll be able to get some help from aside NPCs that will never join your party, for example two ghosts in a quest of four wells in Main Halls.

Also, there is one more NPC available to be asked to join the party . It is Nathlilik, female drow. She refused to join my party, but my leader had too low CHR so I can't speciffically say if Nathlilik will join depending on your charisma and I can't replay that part because I saved over the spot. Anyway watch out, maybe even she joins you. Don't forget this is just a speculation.

Actually, Nathilik will not join our party. Well... In the book she doesn't...

The novel is much better than the game. See http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/PoR2/por_novel.htm

Yep. Gotta say without shame if you read the book, you'll almost feel like playing the game if you haven't found out it sucked...

The novel was fairly acceptable (for an FR book), pity the game didn't live up to it. Damn PC...
