I was looking through my stacks of comics, novels etc for two books to lend to my friend Howard and I came across the ONE GOOD thing about this wretched game.

The module in which the game is based on!
After perusing it, going over the items, monsters etc etc..I realized this is just the thing I need for my campaign I have planned for my 3 players. I had planned to have them run through Baldur's Gate 1-2 (just w/o the Child Bhaal stuff; I only left it for Yaga-Shura etc), Icewind Dale 1-2 and Planescape: Torment.

The Cult of Dragon would make the perfect ending for this large adventure I think.

Is it the same module you get with the collectors edition?

Yes, and from what I've read it's one of the worst 3e modules out there... figures.

the module *is* poorly written..but compared to the computer game? it's gold! gold I say! some tweaking here and there... minor edits, subsitutions..

I've read through it and I think that it has some good ideas, but wouldn't realy be jumping out of my way to play through it.

Oh no..forget about it.. It's not going to be a standalone thats for sure. I'm going to have it mixed in throughout the campaign I'm working on. When everything is finished, it's going to be called The Ruins of Myth's Gate at the Spine of the World.

Or something to that effect
