Heya,

I have just installed POR in my computer with patch 1.4, the 3Eexp mod and the speed fix (compatible with 1.4). I used the trainer to only assign the feats I wanted for my characters (rather than default) and to keep hp balanced as the game has a tendency to roll '1's far too often.

However upon entering the game I noticed a wierd glitch that seems to manifest by random text lines appearing in some places on the interface.

For example on the character generation screen one of the pre-made characters is named "your do not have access to that rogue skill" :eek:

Other instances have appeared on the inventory screen where all items display at the bottom line "you cannot escape more than x feet with this item" and finally in battle sequences I get weird scroll messages indicating "paralysed" when my paladin turns undead and "cannot rage more than once a day" at random.

Is there any explanation behind all this? Any input would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm sure its NOT the speed patch.

For the record though - don't stress over the stock character stats. There is some very powerful stuff in Myth Drannor to compensate for any character build really.

Actually I found that it was speed utility. The altered pormain.exe that it provides, is responsible for the random text which dissapeared after I restored the original.

As for the HP I have heard its a bug realted to stat raising items (for CON) so i will have to take those of when I next level.

You can even put on items which decrease con before levelling for getting more HP.
