with the application section of the ALFA site closed due to "a surge in applications" I was wondering if anyone knows of organizations similar to ALFA, just with open slots for slowpokes such as myself. Thanks.

View Full Version : Are there any alternatives to ALFA? AMaster Thu, 20th Jun '02, 3:09am with the application section of the ALFA site closed due to "a surge in applications" I was wondering if anyone knows of organizations similar to ALFA, just with open slots for slowpokes such as myself. Thanks. Wildfire Thu, 20th Jun '02, 3:20am Unfortunately, I'm only familiar with ALFA. But if you go here: http://www.planetneverwinter.com/community/projects/ They have a list of projects being developed by the NWN community Cullain of Moray That was Cullain's reply in SlimShogun's 'I'm pissed' topic. SlimShogun Thu, 20th Jun '02, 6:18am Yes it was, and I still am... Taluntain Thu, 20th Jun '02, 1:06pm Just a quick explanation... To play NWN online you don't need to be in ALFA nor in any other persistent worlds... They are building their own worlds for you to play in, which are different from the campaign that ships with the game. If you want to just play the game online, you only need to hit the Multiplayer button and Join an Internet game (I think that's the option), and you'll be transported to GameSpy where a big list of servers you can play on will be displayed. This is just to clarify this because some people mistake multiplayer for being only ALFA or any of those worlds. AMaster Sat, 22nd Jun '02, 3:17am Tal, thanks for the explanation, but that wasn't my concern. I may be wrong, but I'm expected decent multiplayer games that are not organized by some group to be few and far between, so I'm looking for a group. |
