I'm having trouble solving the puzzle in the Chapter 1 Interlude to get the Desert's Fury.

I know that you're supposed to arrange the runestones in an "X" shape. That doesn't seem to be working, as I can't position the pieces perfectly.

Pick up the stone you want to move. Stand where you want it. Right click on it in your inventory and choose "Drop".

Looks like the one closest to where you're standing needs to be moved a bit south.

That is because you are making the wrong X-shape. Here is a diagram:

Legend:
S=square with stone positioned on it (so it dissapears)
U=empty square (it doesn't dissapear)

As you probably noticed you need 8 stones while only having 7 (the 8th is standing there, it's the damaged one) so you will have to take yourself the role of the 8th stone by placing you on the 8th square that needs to be occupied.
