because i think i am. Correct me if i'm wrong but the highest level your character can reach is lvl 20, well i have just completed chapter 1 with my with my Lvl 8 monk, nearly 9. and if things continue at this rate i will be lvl 20 by chapter 3. Or am i totally worng, as things start to slow down now.

Chapter Two is not quite as long as Chapter One, and it will slow up slightly. I was level 10 at the beginning of Chapter 2, and at the beginning of Chapter 3, am level 13.

I reached level 20 in the last chapter. Though Tomi stopped gaining levels at 14; hopefully that's what was supposed to happen because he sure got his ass kicked in the later chapters if I didn't keep the monsters away from him.

I hit the cap in mid-chapter 3 so yes, I think I was levelling up to fast. By the way, I'm glad that BTA mentioned Tomi stopped levelling at 14 since Sharwyn did the same thing. I wonder why?

I am currently level 17 and I am right in the beginning of chapter 3 so I will hit the cap soon, but I did all the side quests I could so that's probably why I leveled so quick.

The campaign is about sixty hours plus as stated on the box. Since I already spent way more than 60 hours playing and am only at the middle of chapter 3, I suppose they referring to the core quest of NWN. But I've completed as many side quests as I can figure out how to and I'm already level 17 with another 10k xp more to reach level 18.

I finally completed the game with a friend and we were both level 13..

For doing every possible thing in the game, i.e. all quests etc., the game play was evaluated at over 100 hours.

Wow, I must have missed a whole lot. I guess beating the game solo excluded all the NPC quests, but damn that's some quick leveling. I finished the game as a 16th level Fighter. I did every quest I stumbled upon, except I left Nax in prison(pretty grumpy that day). I beat it on Hard Core Rules. I wonder if thats why I didn't level up so fast...

Well, I'm level 16 just leaveing Lusken, and there's still 2 chapters to go, so I think I'll reach the level cap pretty soon :).

BTW BTA, are you sure he stopped leveling? I remember a couple of times where I could ask Sharwyn to level up because she wasn't a level behind me as she was supposed to be.

All NPCs get capped at level 14.

How do you check what your Henchmen's level is?

Just examine him/her.
