I just got this game and I dying to play it but every time I get to the choose or create a character page my computer freezes! There must be some kind elf/ogre/human that would be willing to give a fellow player a hand. Please, pretty please:heh::idea:

We don't have any ogres, but I'll try to help. ;)

First list your system specs, what OS you're using and what exactly you do to produce to freeze. And, of course, install the patch if you haven't already.

Try change the texture pack to 16 or even back to the Combaitability Mode, If that doesn't work. Then try to update your drivers for your Video card.

Try turning your Hardware accl. down a couple of notches. With a 16 meg card you are right at min. spec, upgrade your card if you can.

I guess so yes, a GeForce 4 might be able to let this game run at 1280*1024*32-bit but I think it is a bit too optimistic for a 1 GHZ celeron with a less good videocard. For high end pc's, I just recommend to play at 1024x768
