Should I bother upgrading Enserric? Will it get better later on?

The merchants at the drow city have a cap of 10000gp... Should I wait to sell my stuff?

Upgrading a weapon would get expensive real fast.

wait to by a weapon in chapter 3, can get "named" +8 weapons out of the chapter's starting gates. Can't remember the max you can sell stuff for in Hell though.

1) on upgrading your sword- it all depends on what abilities you want. Do you want to have a sword to give you vamp regen because if that is important to you and your character go for Enserric but if not you should wait till you find the sword that you like.

Have you been at the temple in Drearing's Deep yet? There you can make a certain upgrade for free. If you put that upgrade on Enserric, then upgrading it further with the smith can make it more powerful than any of the named weapons at the start of chapter 3.

Yes, absolutely wait for the next chapter. The cap in chapter 3 is 50000, and most of the stuff that hits the cap in #2 comes very close to the cap in #3. I made the mistake of selling some of that too early, but now i know better...
