Okay, I'm probably just missing something really obvious since no walkthrough even mentions my problem... but here goes:

I'm in Chapter 3. I just started the Creator Ruins south of Fort Ilkard. I got the translation amulet from the corpse by the door and am wearing it. I enter the temple and kill the skeletons and zombies which attack. I then go into the garden and get the time travel quest from the lady there.

Now I'm supposed to go back into the temple and use the sundial to continue the quest. BUT I can't move into the sundial room (or any other room). This huge bolt of lightning comes down and zaps me back to the center room. I can only go into the garden, or back out the entrance.

I've been stuck here forever. What am I doing wrong.

this is somewhat of a bug I imagine had the same problem. You cannot run past it, walk slowly and really carefully and you should get through. hope this helps

Ah great! Thank you! Walking slowly one small step at a time worked. I'm not sure how one is supposed to know that. Smells buggy to me.

I'm still stuck there, and can't pas thru even walking slowly...

Just click a spot on the floor well past the "lightning" and you should be alright. Your character will "bounce" backwards a bit then keep on going.
