I was wondering about the the weapon finesse finesse skill with regard to halflings equipping rapiers. Since the halfling must use the rapier as a two handed weapon, does the weapon finesse still apply? Will I get the Dex bonus to hit?

I just tried it and it doesn't seem to work.
I had a halfling fighter on lvl.1 with 17 in Dextery (at the beginning I also took the talent
both handed)
He had a chance to hit of 3
On lvl.2 without weapon finesse he had a chance of 4.
On lvl.2 with weapon finesse he had a chance of 4 either.
That was all with a rapier.
If I now take a short sword he have a chance of 5.

Maybe I did something wrong,but I don't think it works.

Thanks for checking for me!!! Now I know not to spend my limited ALFA gold supply on a rapier...I'll just go with the shortsword!
