In the room with the pedistal and the squares, when you grab the cloak and make it to the exit, is a chest always supposed to pop up with class specific gear? or is it only for certain classes?

I've not been able to make it appear for my ranger.

Paladin only. You get the Valiant Plate, Valiant Helm, and Valiant Defender (tower shield) -- decent items but they weigh nearly 82 pounds. In order to really use those items you need a strength build paladin.

Or other people as pack mules :D
