I had some questions.
Whenever we create a new multiplayer game, we logon to a server, will there be any lag cause by this server.
This is what I thought: when we created a game, it's all down to your own computer and internet connection. It's not like Diablo Bnet where it depend on the official server. Am I right?
I mean I get crappy gameplay when I hosted around 5 friends on my mod. That KILLED all the fun of buying NWN hoping to relive my pen and paper D&D times. And for goodness sake, I'm using a 256k broadband access. What do I need? A refrigerator sized server?
Although NWN is a nice game, I just wanted to poke fun at the technical ability of the guy who wrote the requirements for the game. Pentium II 300mhz? BAH!
I'm running Duron 800mhz (not very impressive I know) but take that, it's twice of the requirements and I had to turn everything to minimal just to keep a decent gameplay. I mean I don't get to enjoy the true potential of the game! I think the system spec should be altered to minimum 1 ghz CPU, 256 above RAM and a super duper video and sound card etc.
Those gaming companies really got to clean up their acts.
