I know this sounds REALLY stupid and no doubt people will comment on this but I was wondering if anybody had found a list of compatable Video Cards, it is URGENTLY needed before something drastic happens...

Voodoo generally won't work, and anything older than 3 years likewise. Everything else should work.

It will run on TNT2 cards with the latest drivers, as well as any newer NVidia cards. It is Open GL based, if I remember right, so should run fine on most newer ATI cards as well.

Thanks, the only problem is my card was got earlier this year and it won't work though I just recieved an e-mail and it says that the cards must be:

meet or exceed the following criteria in order to qualify as TNT2-class:

Must have at least 16MB video RAM
Must be OpenGL 1.2-compliant
Must be capable of 32-bit colour at 800 x 600 resolution
Must be DirectX 8.1-compliant
Must have a processing speed equal to or better than a TNT2 card

Edit: My Laptop has got a new ATI card in, I'm thinking about getting it replaced but only will be able to if we can afford it, so any suggestions?

are you aware that laptops usually don't have a descent 3d support. most of the times it will run games, but at relatively low speeds and it will surely kill your laptop battery in notime.

I am aware of this though my Laptop has got full 3D support

I assume that you will not be running it with the battery, as this game will totally destroy it.

Most modern laptops do have 3d support, just check to make sure your video card is at least a TNT2 class or better (but not Voodoo). I would also recommend downloading the newest drivers from the manufacturer's website. That was my first problem.

my video card works so it is compatable :D
it's SIS 315 w/128mb
It's basicly a budget card as it competes with cards 2x it's price (which is $80 usd) although the main reason i got it was for it's TV out feature :)

I have got the latest driver and the reason I am asking for a list of drivers is because mine isn't compatable - so could someone just give me a list or a link please? Because if I don't get one soon I can kiss the game AND the laptop goodbye... for good

Yeah, ATI graphics cards have problems with NWN - I have one and it crashed every 2 minutes or so. The drivers can be find here: http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html .
