What are the best or most creative/original NWN mods out there? I'm considering actually getting the game. :p

You can have mine! I'm getting tired of it always crashing! :mad: But I would say go for it, it's quite good if you get it to work...

Check the Modules subsection on SP. There's a link to the ranked listing of modules on NWVault. Since practically all modules in existence are there, it's easy to pick out the highest-ranked ones.

I highly recommend the Penultima series.

Yeah, the Pentuluma series is great. Also, try the lone wolf one, its REALLY GOOD, better than Pentuluma IMHO (though I found that it invariably crashed on my comp at one point...).
