After beating the game through with my Neutral Goodie Two Shoes, I stated up another with a Lawful Evil Sorcerer, and so far the gold is comming in easy. First I headed to Blacklake cause the place is filled to the brim with rich nobles.

I beated some gold out of a few local nobles in town. Get the job to find Samuel for the Guard Captain, making him pay a little up front of course. And demand more when I follow through. He delivers so I let him live.

Talked to that ***** in the town center and got some gold from her to perform the job of killing/getting a key from hot shot wizard holding the Dryad. Forget his name. So I walk into his place. Make him beg for his life, then have him pay me 500 gold. I then offer to kill the ***** that hired me for him. 500 more gold. Then I decide that isn't enough so I demaned the wizard give me more. He refuses. I kill him and then find to my delight 500 more gold on his corpse and a *****in' magical staff to boot. I have some 3,000 gold and this is the first quest. Its good to be evil.

yep there are alot of people you can shake down for gold :D
another big chunk of change is in chap 3
get some dragon eggs sell them to the red dragon for 1000 gold then give him a live essence sphere for another 5000 gold. he then just gives you the word of power so you don't have to even fight him :D
and killin the green dragon is alot easier then that big red dragon :p
