What's a "machinima"?

Machinima is the art of using a game engine to do the film work. Probably the most popular is the folks from http://www.redvsblue.com where they use the HALO engine.

Basically, you control the game, and capture the video (and audio, if desired), and make a movie out of it. (Combining the words Machine and Cinema to make Machinima).

I should add, it's done (Machinima) with the idea of doing a "skit", show, or movie type format.
