I've been having trouble getting NWN to run well on my XP machine. My specs are:

Athlon XP 2200+
384 MB DDR RAM (PC2100)
S3 ProSavage DDR, 32 MB
40 GB NTFS
48x CD-RW

NWN runs quite slowly, even on single player. I read something in the documents about updating Windows XP's Open GL drivers, but I haven't figured out how to do that. I don't know if that's the issue, or if it's my video card, but I've got everything running on minimum and it still lags horribly. Any ideas?

It's your graphic card, your other specs are fine. Today Nvidia GeForce 4 and ATI Radeon cards rule the gaming scene. If you want to run the latest and the greatest games comfortably you'll have to shell out some money for either.

Or, if you've got the cash, go for the nVidia GeForce FX 5800 Ultra. That's currently the best out there. If you don't, get the Ge4 MX.

Even the GeForce3 that I bought last year so I could run NWN works just fine at the highest settings. If you can find those still, they should be really cheap.
