Hey guys, sorry for another question on this stuff. I know you have ansered this a lot and im sorry. I just need a little help.

I need a new video card i guessing, i got the minimums from some guy on this post. Must have at least 16MB video RAM
Must be OpenGL 1.2-compliant
Must be capable of 32-bit colour at 800 x 600 resolution
Must be DirectX 8.1-compliant
Must have a processing speed equal to or better than a TNT2 card

Now do I just have to go to a computer store and ask for a card with these minimum specifics? Will they know what I need? Thanks I realy appreciate it.

I cant wait to play NWN normally for a change. Instead of this stupid (skip 30 frames lag per second thing.)

Well it depends, are you going to a computer store where if the sales person doesn't know he'll say "Let me ask one of the techs." or are you going to a large chain store? Personally I'd recommend one of the G4 Ti series if you have the money.

Look, it's very easy. Go to the store and buy anything from GeForce 2 MX up. So either GeForce 3 or 4. Even 2 MX will be ok, if you don't have the money for newer models. (I use it myself.)

NWN will work on any of them, guaranteed.

I will recommend either GTS or Ti, because MX was just produced to earn some extra money. GTS and Ti is much faster than MX and there isn't a big difference in the price.

Unless you are buying a used card, all cards currently being made by either nVidia or ATI are going to be far more than you need.

As for current cards, the GeForce4 Ti is the fastest out there, although Ge3 Ti is pretty darn close and much cheaper. I'm not even sure that you'll find anything much weaker than that.
