I'm a 4th level druid and I finally collected the materials I thought I would need to get some improved weaponry from Marrok's Forge. I have put studded leather armor +1 (AC 3) and a gargoyle skull on the forge and asked Marrok to make me some armor. I am shooting for the Whitebone Leather Armor, which is listed in the recipes book as needing magic armor (AC 3 at least) and the skull. Marrok always says that only two items can be put on the forge, the armor or weapon and the component, and I should come back when I have them. Is there something I am missing? I have a couple thousand gold, and since he says it will cost me, I wondered if perhaps I was shy on that? Any suggestions?

The "Whitebone Leather Armor" is actually a suit of half-plate and is, therefore, heavy armor and unwearable by druids -- unless you take the Heavy Armor feat.

I think it requires Leather Armor +1 (total AC of 3 and 3 only -- not "at least" 3). You're putting studded leather armor +1 on the forge which would be AC4 total.
