Hi all. I recently upgraded my video card to MSI GAMX440 64MB DDR from a 32MB ATI Rage Fury. As well, I added 128MB of RAM. Since the upgrade the game freezes the entire computer every two minutes of real time. I have the most recent drivers and the most recent patches. The graphics are improved incredibly but that doesn't amount to much if I can't play the game. Before the upgrade the game ran well, albeit a little choppy. Rebooting the computer seems to be more difficult ie., I have to reset a few times.

My 'puter is a 750MHZ Athalon, the aforementioned video card, 256MB RAM, Soundblaster Live. If there's any other information I need just ask.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried installing earlier drivers for your video card? That has worked in some cases.

Which OS are you using?

I'm using Windows 98, is there a difference? Wildfire, I'll try and see if that helps but can't try for a day as I want to give the guy who installed it a chance to have a look.

Sounds like faulty RAM to me. Does your computer freeze just in NWN?

Yes, the only time it freezes (so far) is in NWN.
