The only answer ever given is "When it's done", but they still claim to be on track for a Winter release.

I recently saw somewhere (maybe on the front page here) that one of the Bioware guys said it'll probably go from "no release date" to "gone gold" with nothing in between.

Heh. No, BTA, that was the *Toolset* not NWN itself. Read more carefully next time. ;)

My understanding is that they're not separating the toolset and the game because they can't; they're too interdependent.

Blackthorne is correct on both counts.

If I was a betting man, which I'm not for the most part, I say NWN will be out between the beginning of the new year and the beginning of March 2002. This is the time frame BioWare has been talking about and they are usually on target if their past track record is anything to go by.

In short we only have to wait about 3 to 5 more months. :)

That release date is probably for you Americans. We Europeans have to wait a few months extra. :sosad: I wonder how long it will take if you order on the internet on an American page and let the game be shipped oversea.

What do you mean without mods? You'll be able to play the game if you order it from USA; at worst you'll have to set your regional settings in Windows to USA.
