I recently bought this game, and can't get it to install correctly. It freezes in the middle of the second disk, and I need to restart my computer, then it thinks its installed, and won't uninstall it. I know the disk isn't bad because it installed on my brother's computer, but he didn't have a good enough graphics card. Can any one help me?

Which OS are you using and what are your system's specs?

I believe he has windows 2000. He addressed this problem to me before. I think he has a 32 meg video card and good enough to run the game on the low end. I think he said he deleted the game instead of properly un-installing it. I think he needs to delete NWN in the registry. I don't know how to do this however, perhaps you do!

I actually have windows 98. I tried uninstalling the game in the control panels under add remove soft ware, but it says to put in the play disk. I figured you how to rund the set up, though it still does the same thing. All that I can find on my specs is "Intel(R) 82810 Graphics Controller" and apparently this could mean many different things. Mabye you could tell me what else I need to know and how to find them out. Thanks.

As far as I know, that Intel is an on-board graphic chip that came with your motherboard. And I can say almost with certainty that it is not good enough to run NWN.
Hmm, I looked it up for you and it turns out it should run NWN, but with issues. Read more here: http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/intel810/sb/CS-004018-prd798.htm
I think there is a way make a forced uninstall of NWN but you should check the BioWare NWN forums for help on this, or the official support.

When I loaded up NWN on my old computer(with a 32 meg, ATI graphics card) it was really crappy and didn't run smoothly. But it worked...
If the "forced install" thing doesn't work, I would either figure out how to delete it in the windows registry or reinstall everything, that is if REALLY you want to play it.
