I click install on BG and get the following message:

Can't run 16-bit Windows program.
Insufficient memory to run this application. Quit one or more windows
application and then try again

Any help welcomed

I doubt you'll be able to ever get it running under Win 2000. I know a couple of my friends tried but could never get it running there...

damn, wish i saw this post sooner but I believe BG uses 16bit code hence the error message but more importantly windows2000 is actually NT5 however in NT4 when you play any 'windows' game NT4 actually plays the 'windows' game in a window, it's a concept in NT called 'windows on windows' hence NT4 could run older games however NT5 is not backwards compatible thus any game in NT5 has to be full 32bit code...so uh yeah, like Tal said it won't work.
