other than the ALFA servers what is already out there, and what guilds have already been started? I would like to see my options as of the moment so I can better understand how long it'll take for me to find a good server once the game is out, and will the company be hosting it's own servers with maybe some selected DM's?
Where can I find the 3E rules list online?

I get to reply to one of my favortite topics again. Alright! Anyway, there are plenty of potential servers out there. I say potential because, until they are actually online, no server, including ALFA, is a sure bet. Some seen to have their act together more than others, but it's still months away from game release time. AFIK, Bioware will not have any servers running NWN online. I'm sure there will be plenty of places to play the offical campaign multiplayer online. It also seems there are plenty of aspiring game designers and dungeon masters out there who are willing to invest their time and money so that we, the gamers, can play on their servers. Some have applications, some are determined to be open to the public if possible. Some are high fantasy, high magic, magic stingy, item stingy. You name it; there's probably are world out there for it.
Here is at least one link. I'd also suggest looking at www.nwn.stratics.com (http://www.nwn.stratics.com) and looking at their online server list once they get back online. They have a large list with good descriptions.

Wish I could help you with the online 3rd edition rules. There was a good site that had alot of the 3rd edition stuff from the phb and monster manual, but it's down right now. Here's the link anyway; it might be back up sometime soon. Who knows.
