All right, I just got dialup (leave me alone, *sniff*) and I started to play online when I got the prompt to update. Of course I said yes, all the servers I play on are updated and I can't play on them with my current version of NWN Platinum. My problem is, it's been 15 minutes and the download is only 2 percent complete!! I checked my task manager to see whether it is running or not responding, and it is running. Yippee!! the update just went from 2 percent to 3! Well, it's not frozen.

So, is it supposed to be taking this long? Could it just be my dialup connection? My friends play FFXI and it takes them HOURS (12 for one of them :p ) to get updates for that, is NWN the same way?

The 1.66 patch is 85 mo, and you have a 56k/second eh? So yes considering your connection it should take some time.

However know that with 56 ko/s you can't have more than two including you during mutliplayer.
