Can someone tell me how, where and who can identify items I have collected/found that are unidentified? I search and search.....

I was able to identify everything I found, so I'm not sure, but I think any shopkeeper can identify stuff for you.

There are also many potions of Lore that can raise your own Lore skill to help you identify stuff.

To identify stuff at a shop, examine the item and click on identify while you have the shop window and your inventory open.

Drinking a potion of lore should also give you enough lore to identify a couple of items. I don't recommend that you use a lot of points on the lore skill just to identify items with it. It's not worth it.

In the shop window near the bottom of the store frame, there's an icon with an eye on it. Click that, and your cursor will change. Then just click with that on the unidentified item and you'll get an option to identify it.

Nobody else mentioned this, so I will. It costs 100 gold every time you get a shopkeeper to identify an item for you.
