Well I'm assuming that I'm going to need to use a console command for this, but I have yet to find a site with such, so thus the question here. But without further adieu, here's the problem.

I've made my way through the prison, killing everything in my path, and on the last floor I find the Head Gaoler, so fine, I took him out... then nothing, so I walked around, freed each of the former guards using persuasion, looted the boxes, and recalled out. Now, naturally, there's no Intellect Devourer there so I dont cant finish that part of the quest, so thus I have my request at the top. A way to fix this short of having to restart the game.
And for the record I DO have the latest patch.

In the last area, there are about three zombie-like servants of the creature, AND the Warden or Head Gaoler. You can get the servants to snap out of it if you have moderately good Persuasion, and they run off. Otherwise, when you kill the one that the Devourer is currently controlling, it switches to a new body. It crawls away from whatever the very last available servant it could control was, after you have killed the body. Then you kill it and get its brain. I had no problems with it, and I had only whatever patches were being added to the official CD at the production site in the early spring of 2003.

I've not heard of anyone losing the creature entirely. Have you searched the archives at the Bioware Spoiler forum? If what you describe has happened, someone there has already asked about it.

It's a pretty common bug, it's been discussed here as well. Later game patches were supposed to fix it but for some people they don't. Which game version are you running, Eternal?

actually, four, the former guardsmen (as they're called in the game), which I explained I released with persuasion

"Your game version is: 1.30.7041 English" (no expansion), simply ran the update button and let it unpack.

Hm, that was supposed to have been fixed way before 1.30. Like the other suggestion said, try the bugs forum at BioWare.

look in that pool (next to portal) in hall of justice.
Some times reagents jump there(do not now why). :confused:
