Sorry to resurrect this, but Synth's corpse isn't in my game. I've scoured the caves/ruins, and he ain't there.

1. Did you upgrade?
2. Are you usung your latest save, you may need to ge back to an earlier one to trigger the changes.
3. If he's there, it's in the north-west corner if I remember correctly.
4. Following our chat this morning, after updating to 1.67, I created a character for HotU (which I hadn't played) Paladin (10), Champion of Torm (5) and started that after 2 hours play, I remebered I was suposed to be working this morning :doh:

I installed the latest patch, and the problem vanished. Alles klar
