After being casted to the Rebel's camp by Halaster in HOD, When I went out of the camp with Valen, he told me that there is a passage to surface. Anyone knows where is it? Thanks in advance!

No, there's no passage to the surface. Sounds like Valen is spreading urban legends!

Thats what I'm thinking too. Anyway, whenever I reloaded the game and went out into the underdark with him for the first time, and we past by the "Freedom" village, he will always said that.

I thought that was kind of weird, too. But since Valen doesn't trust/like you yet, maybe he's just trying to get rid of you. He does know about the geas, after all.

I think he was taunting you, actually. "Oh, brave and skillful surfacer, don't you want to run now?"
