Is there a way to prove Desther guilty before you to that Helm base?

I don't think so. You'll find clues along the way that definitely point to him...But you never get the chance to expose him until he completes his treachery.

I thought I screwed that up too. I found notes on the assasins that kept attacking me and would take them to Aribeth. She would say it was important but that I should take them to Fenthick. I didn't know where he was so I didn't bother.

Fenthick is where you start chapter 1.
Behind Aribeth is a door and he is in there.
