Yes, it's true, or at least being considered. But the question remains: why release a collectors edition now? NWN hasn't been exactly well recieved by it's target audience thus far, and while it has it fans, I can't figure out why release a collectors edition this late. The most hard core fans, the ones who would likely have shelled out extra for a collector's edition, have alread bought the game. And obviously a set of trading crards, music cd, or game/worldbuilder's guide (something like that should have included in the origional release..inexcusable) certainly won't tempt anyone to purchase again. NWN isn't exactly a Lord of the Rings type franchise here. So why release something like this now. To grab the fence sitters? I doubt it will work. If they have reservations about purchasing the game, a few trinkets won't get the to buy. If it's to get those who don't think NWN is worth the money to purchase, well, a few cheap extras won't help much I don't think. I could perhaps see it if it hasn't been released in some foriegn markets yet, but I think the time for something like this has passed. Perhaps they should take the suggestion I sent them: include an "official" campaign worth playing through. That might boost sales.
