I'm in Chapter 2 and I'm a Ranger 8/Rouge 5. I just got back from the Neverwinter Woods and I was going around the Mercenary Barracks getting all of their quests and when I came to Sharwyn I only got to her second part of the story and I couldn't get her quest. I checked my journal and it said I have to spend more time with her so she considers me a friend, but I didn't have to do this with any of the others. Anybody know what to do?

what i do for the henchmen quest is tell them you dont' want them to be your henchmen anymore (parting ways) then rehire them after each time you do this they will tell you more. you can also ask them to tell more after each time they die.

I've rehired her a few times but I don't even get to ask her for the next part of the story.

did you do her quest in chap 1?
cause if you didn't help her in chap 1 you can't do the quests for chap 2 and 3

I did do her chapter 1 quest, but she won't talk to me enough to give me her chapter 2 quest.

I remember reading somewhere that Sharwyn does not have quests, but has a romance instead. This seems to be verified within my game. It takes a very long time for her to continue the story.

She must have quests because I did a quest for her in chapter 1.

Aren't the NPCs destroyed and then recreated at the beginning of the new module (Chapter)? There are no variables going between them, therefore you'll prolly have an item somewhere that would re-enable that. Do you have the patched version of the game? If not, that might be causing some of your problems.

Actually, they're destroyed and recreated every time they (you) level up.

Maybe your right. I do not have the patch and that could be the problem. So far I have not had any problems without the patch though.

Maybe it is true that Sharwyn does not have quests and instead has a romance as Rastor said above. That could be my problem.

What does cross over between modules however is the item they gave you. If you don't have that item in your inventory, then the final line in the quest story won't be triggered. You might want to check the Pool of Tyr to see if it's there.

What does she give you in chapter 1 again?

She's the Bard, right? If so, then it's the Performer's Belt.
